What's the difference between this and Shopify Analytics?
Shopify Analytics shows you revenue, orders, and a handful of conversion metrics. It doesn't know your COGS, doesn't sync your ad spend, doesn't handle multi-channel attribution, and treats refunds as an afterthought. Bottmline is what Shopify Analytics would be if it actually cared whether you were profitable.
Do you take a per-transaction fee?
No. Flat monthly subscription, that's it. We don't touch your payments, we don't take a cut of your sales, and we don't have a "per order" tier waiting to sting you when you scale.
How does COGS handling work?
Three ways: drop a CSV of product costs, sync from your Shopify Cost Per Item field if you've already filled it, or set a blended margin per collection. Whichever you pick, every order gets its true unit profit. Update costs anytime — Bottmline reprices historical orders too.
Is my data safe?
OAuth-only connections, read-only scopes wherever possible, encrypted at rest and in transit, hosted in the UK. We never see your password and never write to your store. Disconnect at any time and all associated data is deleted within 30 days.
Can I cancel whenever?
Yes — one click in your account settings, no email back-and-forth, no "are you sure" survey. Your trial doesn't auto-convert (no card on file), and if you cancel a paid plan you keep access until the end of your billing period.
